What happened at the AI+X Summit 2025?

UZH researchers gathered under the banner of the UZH.ai to present their expertise at the AI+X summit. With over 160 professors working in the field, the AI Buddy team  is not alone in this adventure to better understand how AI can be used to benefit our institutions and how it will impact our society. Topics included AI in medicine, drone racing and space, autonomous driving, AI in the workplace, and many more!

During the event, the AI Buddy team presented our project, but also the larger goal of UZH.ai to collaborate on the many research and practical topics that emerge with the development of AI-based technologies. We talked with students, companies, and other researchers from different Swiss higher education institutions such as ETH Zurich, ZHAW, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), or EPFL.

Curious to see how the summit was? Have a look at our video featuring Antoine Logean (AI Buddy project leader), Fabienne Jedelhauser (project leader of the FutureU Think tank), and Ruben Kranendonk (Chief connector at UZH.ai).
