What is the AI Buddy?
The AI Buddy is the UZH-optimized virtual assistant. At the moment, it is optimized to support students with organisation and regulatory questions.
When will the AI Buddy be available?
The AI Buddy 1.0 was released in September 2025. As a first step, the assistant focuses on the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Informatics (OEC). Its first features seeks to facilitate course selection and organisation.
Release of next AI Buddy version, which will be accessible for all UZH students, is scheduled for February 2026.
